Brandon Corry is the Ditch Maintenance Administrator and a Rural Specialist for the Greene Soil & Water Conservation District. A lifelong resident, and 7th generation in a farming family of Greene County, Brandon lives with his wife, Rachel, running around 40 head of cows and selling competitive show cattle in his spare time. Brandon attended the Ohio State Univeristy and holds a BS in Ag Business.

Starting with the District in 2014, Brandon works primarily with the agricultural community in Greene County. As the Administrator for the Ditch Maintenance Program run in conjunction with the Greene County Engineer, Brandon oversees the maintenance of existing county maintained group drainage projects as well as helps in guiding groups of landowners through the process of improving potential new drainage projects. As a Rural Specialist he helps producers with livestock management concerns, drainage, soil erosion or pond siting. He has also worked closely with the NRCS to help implement Farm Bill programs to get conservation on the ground.

The Ditch Maintenance Supervisor/ Rural Specialist II (DM/RS2) is an employee of the Greene Soil & Water Conservation District and is authorized by Section 940 of the Ohio Revised Code. The employee is under the direct responsibility of the Board of Supervisors with the daily supervision and guidance of the District Director. The DM/RS2 will, as a member of the District staff, carry out the general goals, policies, and objectives of the Greene Soil & Water Conservation District. This employee will be primarily responsible for managing the Ditch Maintenance (DM) Program and assisting our Rural Team, Federal Partners, and all Greene County Residents. The person in this role must be a self-starter and have the ability to set, maintain, and manage required programs without direct supervision from the District Director. The DM/RS2 will administer all aspects of the DM program in accordance with the Greene County Engineer, Ohio Revised Code, and applicable Memorandum of Understandings. The DM/RS2 will also support the Rural, Urban, and Education Teams as needed with all conservation related activities.
